The information about edublogs was great
I’ve already created an account for my College’s learning centres to share news and information. The blogs about the teaching and learning value/benefits of blogs are also very useful.

A lot of the blogs seem to be fairly ephemeral – either in content or lifespan. Good to see media types such as journalists and corporate organisations utilising technology – certainly a source of free publicity!

It has been useful and informative to have a look at example blogs, different blogs will be exciting to different audiences. I like the idea of everyone having the global potential to have their views known. I suspect many of us will sit with a blank page waiting for inspiration. At least the opportunity ia there.

I have really gained only a rudimentary idea about the significance of Blogs. This will improve when I have a more in depth go at the exercises at home.
If I want to look for a subject using the Blog serch facilities, I generall get a heap of stuff in the USA, and rather general topics which are of no interest to me.
I need to develop skills in refining searches.
